Email of the Month - March 2005

Hi John,
I just got a chance to read your 2005 Pro Ironman report, and I want to sincerely thank you for the review you gave me. The overall report was excellent, you definitely know your sport, and what you wrote about me was just awesome. I have always been the biggest fan of Lee Haney, and having my physique compared to his by someone as impressive and knowledgeable as yourself is an incredible compliment. It feels great, and tells me I'm still doing things the right way....or as right as possible considering the level at which I compete.

I remember several years ago, looking at your pictures and articles in Iromman Magazine, and my friends saying "there's no way he's natural." I would just laugh and explain to them that, it was that specific mentality that would keep them from ever having a physique like yours.

Thanks again John for the awesome review, and also for motivating me over the years with your insightful writings and great physique.
